IT Intelligence for a greener enterprise
Most organizations have the data they need to make impactful environmental decisions - it’s already living in their CMDB. I help IT teams turn CI relationships, lifecycle data, and asset health into actionable sustainability insights.
I turn infrastructure data into climate-conscious decisions
I started in IT support, troubleshooting systems and learning the operational side of technology from the ground up. That foundation taught me something most analysts miss: the data that keeps IT running is also a map of organizational inefficiency — and environmental cost.
Over five years I moved from helpdesk to asset management, CMDB governance, and ITSM administration — each step deepening my belief that well-structured configuration data is one of the most underutilized tools in sustainability planning.

Let’s clear this up
Common questions about my work, background, and how CMDB data connects to sustainability — plus a direct line if you want to go deeper.
Frequently asked
What exactly is a CMDB and why does it matter for sustainability?
A Configuration Management Database is the authoritative record of every IT asset in an organization — servers, laptops, software, network gear — and their relationships. It matters for sustainability because it tells you what you have, how old it is, how it's being used, and when it should be retired. That's exactly the data you need to reduce energy waste, minimize e-waste, and make smarter procurement decisions.
Do I need to be technical to work with you or follow your content?
Not at all. I write for both IT practitioners who want to apply these frameworks in their tools, and for sustainability and operations leaders who need to understand what's possible with their existing data. Both audiences get value here.
Are you available for consulting or advisory work?
I'm selectively open to consulting engagements, particularly around CMDB governance, data quality frameworks, and sustainability reporting from IT asset data. Send me a message — I'd love to hear what you're working on.
What tools and platforms do you work with?
My primary platform experience is BMC Helix CMDB, BMC Discovery, ServiceNow, and Ivanti. I've also worked extensively with SCSM, Azure Purview, JAMF, Intune, Jira, and Zendesk.
